We are a consumer-packaged goods company located in the heart of downtown Montreal, that manufactures, develops, designs and markets consumer products under license for major American national brands. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and innovative marketer to fill the role of Digital Marketing Specialist. Our marketing department is charged with driving consumer value and energizing our brands. The candidate should be someone who has a finger on the pulse of everything digital marketing and thinks both creatively and analytically.The Digital Marketing Specialist will help set up our portfolio of items with key retailers, edit and proofread copy, assist in the production of digital product launches, work with our 3rd party agencies when required and assist in all go to market strategies.Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing strategies that will increase our visibility and profile in our industry.Responsibilities:Help manage launch calendars and executes tasks for launch for our brands (experience in BazaarVoice a must)Executes activation tasks for new product launchesAssist in planning for key promotional periodsExecutes go to market tasks for major retailersHas worked with PIM systems before, and will be the key contact point for our internal PIM system (experience with Syndigo or Salsify a must).Ensures content is loaded in time for critical launch periodsEnsure content updates occur in a timely mannerHelps to manage content across all platformsUnderstands the retail environmentHelps to develop and execute market events when needed/requestedCollaborates with product team to ensure the correct product messaging is being usedBuild compelling presentations to complement sales toolsUnderstands trends, trend analysis and sellable trendsWorks with cross functional teams to learn product line and be a part of the overall corporate strategyREQUIREMENTSExperience in Consumer Packaged Goods a mustunderstanding of Retail and eCommerceExperience with US and Canadian Markets a mustFamiliar with digital marketing and omni-channel marketingMust have experience with Syndigo or Salsify and BazaarVoiceComfortable with tight deadlines and a fast paced environmentMinimum 3 years’ marketing experienceStrong communication skillsUniversity degree, preferably in marketing or businessComputer Literacy: Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook), Google Docs, Analytical tools and Social ChannelsIf you are creative and analytical and have a passion for the consumer and retail, WE WANT YOU to join our team.
