<p><p>Status Open</p><p>Site Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre</p><h3>Role and Facility Information</h3><p>Radiologist: Diagnostic<br/>Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre, Fraser East</p><p>Abbotsford Regional Hospital Medical Imaging Department is recruiting one full-time general radiologist. This is a permanent position.</p><p>The successful applicants will be expected to provide diagnostic medical imaging at a regional care hospital (Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Agency) and four community hospitals in the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia (Chilliwack General, Langley Memorial, Mission Memorial and Fraser Canyon Hospitals) in general Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, minor procedures, and MRI.</p><p>Members of Valley Medical Imaging (VMI), a dynamic, collegial 25-member group, provide radiologist services at all the above hospitals. The group also serves three (3) modern, fully digital clinics in Langley, Abbotsford and Chilliwack.</p><p>The position offers competitive remuneration.</p><p>The team is currently accepting applicants holding full license or provisional license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC, and those who have or are eligible for FRCPC in Diagnostic Radiology.</p><p>Facilities:</p><ul><li>Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre — 302 bed, University of British Columbia affiliated hospital with 24/7 emergency services; visits: 77,032 annually.</li><li>Chilliwack General Hospital — 131 bed, University of BC affiliated community hospital; 24/7 emergency services; visits: 61,900 annually.</li><li>Fraser Canyon Hospital — 20-bed community hospital in Hope, BC; 24/7 emergency services; visits: 11,216 annually.</li><li>Langley Memorial Hospital — 188 acute beds; 24/7 emergency services; visits: 47,952 annually.</li><li>Mission Memorial Hospital — 45-bed community hospital; 24/7 emergency services; visits: 21,059 annually.</li></ul><p>Qualifications and requisites:</p><ul><li>Current CPSBC License (Provisional acceptable)</li><li>Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory</li><li>Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) Eligible</li></ul><p>Notes: The information includes general location descriptions and community highlights about Abbotsford and surrounding area.</p></p>
