About the Role

Our client’s External Relations team is seeking a dynamic Design Project Manager to join their Creative Solutions function. This role is key to driving the execution of brand and design initiatives, ensuring visual consistency and creative excellence across all external-facing communications. You will work at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution.

Managing projects from conception to delivery while liaising with internal stakeholders and agency partners.



Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end design and creative project management across campaigns, marketing materials, events, and digital assets aligned with the brand strategy.
  • Creative Briefing: Collaborate with internal clients to develop clear creative briefs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and brand guidelines.
  • Timeline & Budget Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, resource plans, and budgets. Track milestones, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, the in-house creative team, and external agencies.
  • Brand Governance: Ensure consistency with global brand standards and visual identity across all creative outputs.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the review and QA process to ensure final outputs meet creative, technical, and compliance standards.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Track project success metrics and deliver regular reporting to key stakeholders.


Qualifications


Must-Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within design, brand, or creative teams (in-house or agency).
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, visual design, and marketing communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, or Smartsheet).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business goals into actionable creative work.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working in or with large, matrixed organizations or global brands.
  • Familiarity with energy, sustainability, or B2B brand communications.
  • Experience navigating brand governance processes within regulated industries.
