Stellar Recruitment is currently looking for a DBA for one of our energy clients in Vancouver! The successful candidate must have extensive experience working in a SQL and Oracle environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop custom monitors to supplement built-in monitoring of OEM and SQL Diagnostic Manager
- Provide operational and sustainment support of all our SQL and Oracle environments
- Proactively monitor database health, performance and space
- Assist developers to tune SQL queries as well as both PL/SQL and T-SQL code
- Support disaster recovery site and process and participate in disaster recovery process tests
Qualifications:
- 4+ years' experience preferably in a Database Administrator role
- Completed a university degree (Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent)
- Experience with one of Oracle or SQL Server
- Experience with automation and scripting
- Snowflake experience an asset but not required
Pay Rate: $60-80 per/hour.
Available for on call work
