<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Data Solutions Architect role at ECS. This position is contingent upon contract award. Remote work is available.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Responsible for the overall design and governance of the enterprise data platform. Defines Azure resource architecture, metadata strategy, data integration patterns, and ensures platform scalability and sustainability.</li><li>Advises on governance best practices and supports long-term alignment with USPS collaboration goals.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li><li>Must be able to pass a Public Trust clearance.</li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, including at least 5 years in designing and deploying cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure).</li><li>Expert-level knowledge of Azure architecture (Data Lake Gen2, Synapse, Purview, Key Vault).</li><li>Experience designing metadata strategies and data governance models.</li><li>Familiarity with tenant federation, security architecture, and role-based access models.</li><li>Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and data lineage documentation.</li></ul><h3>Notes</h3><p>ECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics.
