Position: Data Quality & Automation Administrator

  • Location: TBD
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday / 40 hours per week (Remote) 
  • Salary: Depending on experience
  • Responsibilities

  • Data Governance & Quality
  • Support data request intake and tracking to ensure efficient response and resolution.
  • Support data cleansing efforts by identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, and gaps in customer, product, and pricing data.
  • Help establish and maintain data governance standards, SOPs, and validation rules.
  • Collaborate with data administrators to ensure consistent and accurate data entry.
  • Process Optimization & Automation
  • Develop Power Query scripts, Excel automation, and other data tools to streamline recurring tasks.
  • Implement data validation logic and alerts within business systems where applicable to reduce manual errors.
  • Support Data Operations Manager by improving data workflows and reducing inefficiencies for data maintenance tasks. 
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance, operations).
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and KPI tracking.
  • Integrate data from multiple systems to generate cross-functional insights.
  • To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and data transformation tools.
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 is an asset).
  • Familiarity with SQL, DAX, Python or other data scripting languages is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with an ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience in a B2B or industrial distribution environment is an asset.
