Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON – 2 days Hybrid (Tues & Thursday)
Duration: 12 months with possible extension/conversion
Must-Have Skills:
- SAS, ETL, and SQL (very strong SQL required)
- Data Mining & Transformation
- Data Integration & Structuring
- Understanding of Processing Times
Role Focus:
- Building & transforming datasets for business partners, analytics, reporting, and data science teams.
No stakeholder management but should work independently and delegate tasks when needed.
Nice-to-Have:
- AWS knowledge (for potential cloud migration)
- Banking/Financial industry experience
Key Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving & data structuring skills
- Ability to work under high pressure & quick turnarounds
- Good communication & ability to articulate technical nuances
