Cyber Security Engineer

The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the security tool stack and technologies. This role involves ensuring the security tools are properly configured and operating efficiently. The engineer will work closely with the team to consolidate and improve the security stack, maturing its use and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:


  • Implement and maintain security tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with architects to align engineering efforts with security standards and guidelines.
  • Focus on consolidating and improving the security tool stack.
  • Consolidate security tools such as Proofpoint, Imperva, Akamai (WAF), SentinelOne, and CrowdStrike. (primary project)
  • Work independently to manage tasks and projects.
  • Operate in a mixed environment (Linux, Windows Server, Windows, and Mac deskside), with a heavier focus on Windows.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory for identity management.

    Work with SIEM platforms, with experience in Q Radar or similar.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity (junior to mid-level).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience


  • Coding/scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
  • Penetration testing experience (not necessary).
