Responsibilities * Work closely with Project Team. Ensure the alignment of project agreement, design and construction deliverables; * For Architectural disciplines assigned, will be the main point of contact and interface person between Designer and subcontractor during SD development; * For the Architectural disciplines assigned, will be the main point of contact and interface person between Designer and construction when there are constructability issues; * Review the design drawings and specifications, identify the issues, propose solution, prepare constructible working sketches, drawings and related documents; * Under the guide of the Architectural Technical Manager, for the discipline assigned, review the drawing and identify potential optimizations that can improve the constructability and give a reduction on cost; * Support the site team during the construction phase, in case of concerns clarifying doubt and helping them providing sketches and solution in case of conflicts or not clarity on IFC drawings; * Coordinate and review shop drawings and materials submittal of sub-contractor and vendor in compliance with project design. Ensure the compliance with project agreement, design intent, specifications, applicable Code and construction best practices; * Support procurement activities, prepare marked up, capture scopes and quantities; * Attend coordination meetings, BIM clash detection meeting, contribute to team discussions and provide thoughtful input; * Coordinate the shop drawing submissions, track and follow up the review process and obtain close out; * Maintain cordial relations and communications with project team; Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Excellent technical, communication, organizational, managerial and planning skills. * Good working knowledge of construction processes. * Strong solving problems/analysis. * Great attitude and willingness to learn. * Driven and motivated to complete work efficiently, under tight project deadlines. * Strong time management and outstanding attention to detail. * Team player with the ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives. * Ability to manage time with multiple tasks and priorities. * Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam. Experience with Revit is an asset. * Site experience with formwork and fit out – architectural will be considered an asset. Required Skills And Competencies * Engineering / Architectural degree. * 5+ years construction related experience or training. * Experience working in a multi-national environment is a plus. * Master degree or experience in P3 projects is an asset.
