With 2 university students already on the team returning from last summer, we know firsthand how great it can be to get out of school and do some hands-on work.

Job tasks and resposibilities:
Surface Preparation:
- Set up painting area and assemble any necessary equipment
- Cover and protect floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths or plastic sheets
- Scrape off loose or peeling paint
- Sand surfaces to ensure smooth application and smoother paint lips
- Fill holes, cracks, and imperfections with putty or caulk
- Clean surfaces to remove dust, dirt, and grease
- Apply primer or base coat to ensure proper adhesion
Painting Application:
- Cut in edges with a brush for clean, sharp lines
- Apply paint using brushes or rollers depending on the surface and project needs
- Apply multiple coats as necessary for full coverage and durability
- Provide an even and consistent finish
Detailing & Finishing Touches:
- Inspect work for missed spots or inconsistencies
- Smooth out drips and touch up imperfections
Cleanup & Job Completion:
- Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure customer satisfaction
- Remove all protective coverings and clean up the workspace
- Remove any tape
- Clean brushes, rollers, and sprayers properly for future use
- Dispose of leftover paint and materials properly
- Return furniture and fixtures to their original positions
