We are proud to offer competitive compensation, a supportive working environment, rewarding career paths and plenty of opportunities for learning and growth.</p><p></p><p>The location in Port Alberni, BC , is seeking talent to fill the position of <strong>Process Engineer</strong>.</p><p></p><p>This job is full-time and permanent.</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Responsible for continually looking at ways to improve quality and operations.</li><li>Identify areas that need process control optimization.</li><li>Evaluating the efficiency of manufacturing technologies, instruments, equipment, and tools.</li><li>Driving process control innovation in collaboration with senior management.</li><li>Is responsible for driving the process of machine optimization and will work as a member of a team to provide continuous improvement.</li><li>Keeping process control within budget without compromising quality and efficiency.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.</li><li>Documenting processes and preparing progress reports.</li><li>This position also provides technical support for the daily operation of the mill.</li><li>New product development/grade specification.</li><li>Oversee all control testing.</li><li>Technology transfer.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Key Skills:</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Ability to understand requirements and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.</li><li>Proficiency in project management.</li><li>Extensive industry specific process knowledge.</li><li>Ability to prioritize, make sound decisions, and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, leadership and time management skills.</li><li>Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the company.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>P.
