We strive to foster a balanced and flexible culture that benefits both our customers and employees.</p><p>Position Summary</p><p>A Store Supervisor assists in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Accountable for opening and closing the store; including arming and disarming store alarms.</li><li>Accountable for counting and balancing tills and float at the beginning and end of each shift.</li><li>Conduct daily safe audits.</li><li>Operate the cash register and POS system, administering Supervisor POS functions, as required.</li><li>Manage transactions and the cash register with honesty and integrity.</li><li>Restock store shelves, barrels, tubs, pails, and displays.</li><li>Facilitate and assist with placing Warehouse and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) orders.</li><li>Facilitate and assist with receiving Warehouse and DSD orders, including tracking the expiry dates of received items.</li><li>Prepare and deliver the daily deposit to the nearest TD Bank.</li><li>Submit daily and weekly paperwork to Corporate Office.</li></ul><p>Team Collaboration</p><ul><li>Coach and motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities</li><li>Lead staff and ensure that Bulk Barn standards are upheld.</li><li>Assign staff break times in compliance with Company Policy.</li><li>Delegate tasks amongst employees, as required.</li><li>Follow-up with employees to ensure the tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner.</li><li>Lead and assist workers in performing their day-to-day tasks.</li><li>Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.</li></ul><p>Service Excellence</p><ul><li>Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations.</li><li>Ensure the store is kept clean at all times by adhering and executing tasks on all cleaning schedules; including, but not limited to floors, barrels, fixtures, windows, utensils, bathrooms, store exterior, and store interior.</li><li>Promotes and works to maintain workplace wellness, health and safety, through active compliance with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Any other duties as required</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Business profitability</li><li>Team collaboration</li><li>Service excellent</li><li>Highschool education or equivalent</li><li>1-3 years' experience working in a retail environment</li><li>1 year working under pressure, multi-tasking and managing time</li><li>Intermediate communication skills</li><li>1 year supervising a team</li><li>1 year working experience in a professional environment</li></ul><p>Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.</p><p>Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday.
