Tell us about how your natural ability to engage with others reassures and inspires confidence.</p><p>As a Corporate Security Guard, there is a high focus on desk duties, Scheduled Patrolling and customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a High profile Corporate environment</p><h3><b>What's in it for you?</b></h3><ul><li>Hourly wage of $16.11+ Comprehensive benefits</li><li>We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorldAcademy</li><li>Permanent Position: Sunday to Thursday (2300-0700)</li><li>Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld</li><li>Uniform provided at no cost</li></ul><h3><b>Responsibilities for Corporate Security Guard</b></h3><ul><li>Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification, and provide clear guidance while maintaining excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.</li><li>Control access at entry and exit pointsusing electronic systems or physical checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.</li><li>Conduct regular interior and exterior patrolsof stairwells, hallways, and common areas to establish presence, identify risks, and maintain order.</li><li>Monitor and document all security systems and CCTVfor suspicious activity or operational issues, escalating concerns when needed.</li><li>Inspect and report maintenance needsrelatedto security equipment and facility infrastructure.</li><li>Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, and coordinate effectively with emergency responders.</li><li>Secure identified doors, ensure proper locking procedures, and enforce property regulations and city by-laws at all times.</li><li>Protect client assetsagainst theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns by remaining alert and proactive.</li><li>Document all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of concerns.</li><li>Foster positive staff relationshipsand act as the first point of contact during emergencies to ensure a coordinated and professional response.</li></ul><h3><b>Qualifications for Corporate Security Guard</b></h3><ul><li>Be authorized to work in Canada</li><li>Hold a valid Manitoba security license</li><li>First aid certification an asset</li><li>Proficient in basic phone & computer skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site (asset)</li><li>Leadership and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work in a stressful environment</li></ul><p>Apply today – this could be more than a job! 26% of our corporate employees started as frontline workers.
