Controller - 3+ Months Employment Type Contract Location Toronto, ON Apply SHARE THIS JOB Job Description: This is a high-impact Controller role reporting directly to the CFO, ideal for someone with deep experience in European financial operations, especially within German business units and CPA designated.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for European entities
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
Collaborate with local finance teams and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Provide insights and analysis to the CFO on financial performance and variances
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Germany, Denmark, and the UK
Utilize SAP and, ideally, Datev for financial consolidation and reporting
Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation TMGCT Job Requirements: CPA or equivalent designation
Proven senior-level controllership experience
Hands-on support of European entities (Germany preferred)
Familiarity with Datev (German reporting tool) – strong asset
