<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada. Position summary: Working as a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada develops your skills in the retail industry. The Consumables Associate is a customer service champion who contributes to the high-volume, fast-paced flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor. The Associate works as part of a team to stock and process merchandise and assist customers with their shopping needs, in a safe and clean environment.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Greets all customers in a polite and friendly manner.</li><li>Assists customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and helping with purchase decisions.</li><li>Resolves customer issues and refers concerns to management when appropriate.</li><li>Maintains salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.</li><li>Ensures proper handling of claims and returns, secures merchandise, identifies high shrink items and maintains a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.</li><li>Receives and stocks merchandise, uses equipment appropriately, administers required paperwork and documentation.</li><li>Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.</li><li>Stocks merchandise, downsplits if applicable, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars or new shelf caps.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Age – 16 or older</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><p>Walmart will accommodate the disability-related needs of applicants and associates as required by law.</p><h3>Primary Location</h3><p>1555 18th Ave E, Owen Sound, ON N4K 0E2, Canada</p><h3>Application</h3><p>Please log in to your Workday account and use the Find Jobs report to apply for this job.</p><h3>Job Details</h3><ul><li>Seniority level: Entry level</li><li>Employment type: Full-time</li><li>Job function: Other</li><li>Industries: Retail, Manufacturing, and Retail Groceries</li></ul></p>Create Your Resume First
