<h3>Consultant, Financial Analysis & Reporting - Finance</h3>
<p><b>Key Details:</b> 1 position, Full Time, Salary Range: $49.02 - $57.68 /hour, Location: St. Joseph's Hospital - London, ON.</p>
<p>The Corporate Business Consultant in the Accounting, Reporting, and Budgeting finance portfolio will be part of a collaborative team focused on providing business and information support across St. Joseph's diverse organization.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<p>As a Corporate Business Consultant, key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Execute and coordinate monthly and yearly accounting close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, project financial analysis, financial statement preparation and analytical review.</li>
<li>Undertake accounting and reporting for grant financial management, including preparation of funder budgets and proposals, reports, and audits.</li>
<li>Provide detailed variance analysis against prior year, budget, and forecast; identify root causes and communicate financial information promptly and reliably.</li>
<li>Lead, plan, and coordinate year‑end external audit processes and other audits as needed.</li>
<li>Support full‑cycle budgeting processes.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Essential Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including not‑for‑profit accounting standards and PSAB.</li>
<li>Knowledge of a safety culture in a health‑care setting in compliance with the OHSA.</li>
<li>Experience with month and year‑end accounting close procedures and reconciliations.</li>
<li>Intermediate computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.</li>
<li>Experience with financial reporting software applications.</li>
<li>Expertise in manipulation of data and file transfers.</li>
<li>Self‑directed individual with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong customer service focus and ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience leading, planning, and coordinating an organization's external audit.</li>
<li>Experience in a health‑care or research environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Oracle eBusiness financial reporting software.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Teaching and Research</h3>
<ul>
<li>During your employment, you will be expected to engage in role‑related teaching and research activities through St. Joseph's affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Immunization Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID‑19, and influenza.</li>
<li>Provide documentation of the tuberculosis skin test.</li>
</ul>
