Construction Survey Calculator/DrafterWestern Canada


who has experience in the Construction Survey sector and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.


The Work:


  • Drafting of as-built and redline plans for construction surveys - piles, topo surveys, material cut/fills, pipelines
  • Calculations of piles, anchor bolts, foundations
  • Design and quantity calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D of multi-layered surfaces
  • Creation of clean and professional looking deliverables
  • Ability to work with field crews and Project Leads to understand job scope and deliver professional products to CORE's clients
  • Ability to liaise with clients, offering solutions and customer service
  • Quality Control of field data and calculations
  • Interpretation and deep understanding of Construction IFC and Engineering drawings
  • Basic understanding of Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure system
  • Ability to work unsupervised from home using CORE's virtual system
  • On call during evenings and weekends and work overtime in order to help service emergency field layout


What you bring to the table:


  • Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
  • Desire for excellence in all that you do.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with clients
  • Creativity
  • A degree/diploma from a technical College or University in Geomatics
  • Five years of experience in construction surveys and civil engineering
  • Experience working with both industrial, commercial, and infrastructure construction sites
  • Experienceworking with Land Surveys
