We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mass Timber Project Manager to join the team and help bring groundbreaking projects to life.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Driving the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing all facets of project execution, including design, procurement, fabrication, shipping, and installation, to achieve optimal quality, cost, and schedule outcomes.
- Continuously monitoring project progress to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Leveraging deep knowledge of mass timber materials, construction methods, and building codes to provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reviewing project drawings, contracts, specifications, and engineering documents to ensure compliance and maximize performance.
- Managing personnel, equipment, and material resources effectively to meet project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
- Identifying resource needs, delegating tasks, and proactively monitoring progress to maintain efficiency and performance.
- Overseeing and tracking all financial aspects of the project, including procurement, forecasting, cash flow management, and project billing.
- Negotiating contractual revisions and managing financial closeouts while maintaining detailed financial administration.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize disruptions and ensure success.
- Developing and implementing contingency plans or alternate solutions to address potential challenges proactively.
- Acting as the primary liaison for clients, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Building strong relationships through trust, transparency, and effective communication while addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Performing other duties as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in engineering, construction management, architecture, manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in the construction industry, ideally focusing on mass timber or wood-framed structures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving expertise.
- Preferably, a solid understanding of mass timber materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques.
- Skilled at working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-evolving environment.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Teams and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for collaborating effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of CAD and relevant certifications, such as PMP, are considered assets.
