This role is ideal for a dependable leader with strong organizational skills and experience in food service or concessions.<br><br><strong>Concessions Supervisor</strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Scotiabank Centre – Halifax, NS<br /><strong>Shifts Available:</strong> Morning | Afternoon | Evening<br /><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and coordinate concessions staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to safety and quality standards.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure accurate stock management.</li><li>Oversee food and beverage preparation and service, including responsible alcohol service.</li><li>Manage point-of-sale (POS) operations and resolve any issues promptly.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of concession areas.</li><li>Train new staff on operational procedures, customer service, and safety guidelines.</li><li>Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.</li><li>Collaborate with venue management to support overall event success.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum age of 18 (due to alcohol service requirements).</li><li>Previous supervisory or leadership experience in food service, concessions, or hospitality preferred.</li><li>Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., Serve Right) or willingness to obtain prior to start.</li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Must be able to pass a criminal background check.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly wage: $18.00 – $21.00 (based on experience).</li><li>Flexible, event-based scheduling.</li><li>Weekly pay.</li><li>Opportunity to work at a leading entertainment venue in Halifax.</li><li>Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development.</li></ul><br><br><strong>About Equation Staffing Solutions:</strong><p>Equation Staffing Solutions is a successful, award-winning Calgary based staffing and recruitment agency specializing in the placement of candidates on a temporary, contract or permanent basis.
