<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour + commission incentives and benefits (negotiable based on experience)<br /><p><em>Centennial Carstar Summerside is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Collision Damage Appraiser!</em></p><p><em></em></p><p>NOW HIRING: Collision Damage Appraiser</p><p>LOCATION: Carstar Summerside, Summerside, PEI</p><p>HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.</p><p>WAGES: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour + commission incentives and benefits (negotiable based on experience) </p><p></p><p>THE PERFECT FIT:</p><p>Youre an organized, motivated, detail-oriented, punctual, and people-focused individual who loves working with the public in a team setting. You have previous experience as an automotive appraiser, or experience in a similar field, and your mission is to always provide ultimate customer satisfaction.</p><p><br /></p><p>APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li>Strong customer service and phone skills required.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal skills.</li><li>Strong computer skills with the ability to use multiple programs simultaneously.</li><li>Must be reliable and show initiative.</li><li>Professional personal presentation.</li><li>Organized, capable of multitasking, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Valid Canadian drivers license.</li><li>Possess technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs.</li><li>Previous automotive appraiser experience is not necessary but considered a strong asset. Additional training will be provided.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of Mitchell and Audatex electronic imaging/ estimating systems is considered a strong asset but not necessary.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li>Inspect vehicles to assess collision damage and determine repair needs, costs, and timelines.</li><li>Prepare detailed appraisals and cost estimates, including written reports and documentation.</li><li>Submit and follow up on supplement requests with insurance companies, including required photos, invoices, and estimates.</li><li>Communicate and negotiate with insurance companies and adjusters to support claims processing.</li><li>Plan and coordinate repair work with technicians, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.</li><li>Order required parts and materials for repairs.</li><li>Review repair invoices and ensure they align with estimates and insurance approvals.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by explaining the repair process, answering inquiries, and maintaining clear communication.</li><li>Oversee final repairs to confirm quality, appearance, and compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all assessments, estimates, and approvals.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>WHY WORK WITH CENTENNIAL:</p><ul><li>Customer-centered culture</li><li>Supportive and team-oriented environment</li><li>Professional training and development opportunities</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Company matching RRSP</li><li>Group <span >health/dental/insurance</span> coverage</li><li>Employee discounts</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Exciting career opportunities await you at Centennial Auto Group, a rapidly expanding company with a 46-year track record of success.
