Youll connect with individuals, to offer support, listen without judgement, and help guide them through financial challenges with professionalism and respect.</p><p><br /></p><p>Our downtown Winnipeg office is ready to welcome new team members.</p><p><br /></p><p>What the Role Involves</p><p>As a Collections Officer, you will:</p><p></p><ul><li>Speak with consumers whove missed paymentssome recently, some long-term</li><li>Establish contact through inbound and outbound calls</li><li>Work within clear policy and process to offer fair and firm solutions</li><li>Negotiate payment arrangements in accordance with client and company guidelines</li><li>Investigate and advise on payment plans and settlement options</li><li>Serve as the contact/liaison for your assigned account portfolio</li><li>Document calls accurately and meet compliance standards</li><li>Manage each call with confidence, an empathetic ear, and clear boundaries</li><li>Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by treating every consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity, and respect.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What You Bring</p><p>Were looking for individuals who are:</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Strong communicators with excellent verbal and written skills</li><li>Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution</li><li>Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-focused</li><li>Ethical and professional in all interactions</li><li>Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced team environment</li><li>Proficient with computers and able to communicate effectively in English</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Experience in collections, customer service, or call centres is a bonus but not required.
