<p><b>REPORTS TO:</b> Production Supervisor</p>
<p><b>DATE:</b> 01/2026</p>
<p><b>SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITY:</b> None</p>
<h3>POSITION SUMMARY</h3>
<p>The CNC Operator is to operate equipment and/or carry out material handling functions in line with work procedures for a work station, ensuring quality and production levels as per company standards. After receiving training and instruction, work in the assigned workstation(s). Move to where the work is. Work as a team member helping others. Work assignments in the plant will change from time to time.</p>
<h3>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<ul>
<li>Operate machinery and undertake any material handling duties as per the standard operating procedures. Ensure that all guards and safety devices are in place prior to operations.</li>
<li>Attention to quality – identify production/quality issues to the supervisor; take action on individual product quality issues, do not pass on to next work station.</li>
<li>Work efficiently (smart) to minimize cycle times, in order to meet production targets.</li>
<li>Follow procedures as it relate to the flow of products through the work station</li>
<li>Expedite reworks, addons, valances and accessories in order to complete orders</li>
<li>Follow and update the production schedules</li>
<li>Complete any required documentation</li>
<li>Move to other workstations to help others when appropriate or as directed.</li>
<li>Ensure lockout procedures are adhered to prior to any maintenance, cleaning etc.</li>
<li>Clean the workstation throughout the day and prior to end of the shift</li>
<li>Minimize waste – e.g. use of remnants, vinyl, etc.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<h3>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS</h3>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of operating procedures and documentation requirements</li>
<li>Product knowledge</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Good team work</li>
<li>Trained for various work stations</li>
</ul>
<h3>PREFERRED SKILLS</h3>
<ul>
<li>College diploma or 2-3 years commensurable experience</li>
<li>1-2 years of experience operating and setting up CNC router machines</li>
<li>Knowledge of operating procedures and documentation requirements</li>
<li>Strong math skills</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Knowledge of RouterSim software</li>
</ul>
<h3>WAGE RANGE</h3>
<p>$18.36 - $20.56</p>
<h3>WORKING ENVIRONMENT</h3>
<ul>
<li>Production setting - Dust</li>
<li>Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions</li>
<li>Noise level is usually moderate to occasionally loud.</li>
