Summit Search Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Drafter to join our client's team at Dlux Cabinetry. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinet design, CNC programming, and precision drafting, helping to ensure high-quality production in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

CNC Drafter and Operator Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed CNC-ready shop drawings and g-code programs using cabinet design software.
  • Visit job sites to take critical measurements and lay out cabinet, plumbing, and electrical locations.
  • Collaborate with the design team to determine cabinet styles, materials, and hardware.
  • Review appliance, plumbing, and hardware specifications to ensure proper clearances and installation.
  • Track ongoing projects through the manufacturing process, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Source and order required materials and hardware for each project.
  • Prepare documentation for shipping and on-site installers.
  • Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, including seed treaters and CNC machinery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in cabinet design, CNC programming, or related manufacturing fields.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Mozaik Cabinet Software (or willingness to learn).
  • Strong knowledge of the cabinet industry (background in cabinetmaking is a plus).
  • Ability to read and create detailed technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with both manual and automated CNC processes.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
