Job Description

Location: 8560 Baxter Place, Burnaby, BC, Canada V5A 4T2 Email address: Number of Positions: 2 Position: CNC (computer numerical control) machinist Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 30/week Salary: $38.00/hr Overtime: As per provincial standards - $57.00 after 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/wk Observed Holidays: As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca 10 holidays/yr Language: English Benefits: Extended health, dental, accidental death and dismemberment, life insurance and long-term disability. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Additional Requirements: Knowledge of Solid works, Fusion 360 or Master CAM would be an asset. Job Duties: Operate and set up CNC machines. Accurately decipher provided drawings and specifications. Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specification and drawing tolerances. Safely moving parts and materials with the use of overhead cranes. Uphold machine maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment. Comply with company safety and work policies. Collaborate with other team members to solve technical issues and maintain production schedule.
