Years of experiences:
3-4 years of experience as an Azure Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networks, and databases.
- Ensure the high availability and performance of cloud applications and services hosted on Azure.
- Automate routine tasks using Azure Automation.
- Work with Azure Active Directory (AAD) for user and group management, as well as role-based access control (RBAC).
- Configure and manage virtual networks (VNets), VPNs, and ExpressRoute for secure communication between on-premises and Azure resources.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Perform regular patch management and upgrades for cloud resources.
- Monitor Azure costs and optimize cloud spend by identifying unused or underutilized resources.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented, including firewalls, network security groups (NSGs), and encryption for data at rest and in transit.
- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and security teams to ensure seamless deployment and scaling of applications in Azure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud services, networks, and virtual machines.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal use and knowledge sharing.
