Duties
Conduct Comprehensive Assessments – Perform psychological evaluations to accurately diagnose a range of mental health conditions.
Develop Personalized Treatment Plans – Create and implement evidence-based, individualized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Provide Therapeutic Support – Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges.
Collaborate Across Disciplines – Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and integrated care.
Track Progress and Outcomes – Continuously assess patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to support long-term success.
Maintain Clinical Documentation – Ensure timely, accurate, and confidential maintenance of all patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
Stay Current in the Field – Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed on the latest research, methods, and best practices in psychology.
Experience
- Proven experience working in hospital, clinic, or private practice settings, providing psychological services to diverse client populations
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform clinical decisions and treatment planning
- Familiarity with special education programs and services for children, including psychoeducational assessments
- Experience in the motor vehicle accident (MVA) sector is considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
- Licensed to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Ontario; must be in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Deeply compassionate and client-focused approach, with a commitment to evidence-based, trauma-informed care

We have virtual and in person options, within our bright spacious clinic locations at the St. Catharines General Hosptial, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Grimsby, and Kitchener.
