<p>Job Summary</p><p>Neat Nest Cleaning is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. You will play an important role in creating neat, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team while upholding the high standards of Neat Nest Cleaning.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.</li><li>Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools for various cleaning tasks.</li><li>Carry out commercial and residential cleaning duties in accordance with Neat Nest Cleaning standards and client expectations.</li><li>Handle heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during the cleaning process.</li><li>Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.</li><li>Manage time efficiently to complete all tasks within scheduled timeframes.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, responsive, and professional with clients.</li><li>Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding schedules, updates, or issues.</li></ul><p>Experience & Qualifications</p><ul><li>Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.</li><li>Strong time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Comfort with heavy lifting and physical cleaning tasks.</li><li>A car is an asset for transportation to and from job sites.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Freelance<br><br>Contract length: 3 months</p><p>Pay: $17.75-$19.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week</p><p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p><ul><li>Toronto, ON (M2R): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)</li></ul><p>Language:</p><ul><li>English (preferred)</li></ul><p>Willingness to travel:</p><ul><li>25% (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
