Claims Counsel
Must be a LAWYER.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Toronto, Ontario with some work from home acceptable. As a Claims Counsel, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing claims, ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient customer service, and negotiating settlements. Daily tasks include reviewing and processing insurance claims, conducting investigations, gathering and analyzing information, and liaising with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to resolve claims.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to gather and analyze complex information
- Must have experience in Real estate, Corporate/commercial & tax.
- Experience in Insurance and Claims Management
- Customer Service and Negotiation skills
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the insurance industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field
