We have successfully partnered with Indigenous First Nations across the country, demonstrating our commitment to these communities and corporate Truth and Reconciliation.</p><p></p><p><strong>Our Ideal Candidate</strong></p><p><br />Allnorth is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Municipal Engineer that will provide leadership and vision to support our growing Civil Engineering team in Saskatchewan. In this key role, based out of either Regina (preferred) or Saskatoon, you will lead the design and execution of a variety of civil infrastructure projects, including land development, road design, drainage systems, water and wastewater treatment, and much more. You will be responsible for scoping, budgeting, project management, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes. We have a talented Group of engineers, engineers-in-training, technical staff, and project managers in both the Regina and Saskatoon offices ready to work with you to deliver important projects. Consideration will be given for a largely remote working scenario but periodic travel to their reporting office and job sites mainly within the province of Saskatchewan will be required.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience with civil engineering design and construction standards in Saskatchewan with existing relationships with private developers and communities within the province. This position is ideal for individuals that want to play an integral part in building the Infrastructure business stream within Allnorth and especially Saskatchewan. Both excellent technical skills blended with proven leadership and a solid business development track record will put the ideal candidate ahead of the pack for this position.</p><p>Primary Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Project management</li><li>Proposal writing</li><li>Subject matter expert advice</li><li>Personnel management</li><li>Management</li><li>Performance reviews</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>A Day in the Life</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage the procurement, planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects across Saskatchewan</li><li>Perform technical assessments, inspections, and reviews</li><li>Prepare cost estimates, proposals, reports, designs, drawings, and specifications</li><li>Support and collaborate with other Allnorth offices and professionals across Canada, USA and Mexico</li><li>Ensure high-quality standards, budget control, and adherence to schedule</li><li>Establish and maintain client relationships and support business development efforts</li><li>Participate in personal development, mentoring and recruitment providing senior level mentorship and guidance to EITs and technical staff</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education in Civil Engineering</li><li>Minimum 8-12 years of relevant civil engineering experience, ideally in private consulting</li><li>Must be registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Saskatchewan</li><li>A willingness to obtain professional registration in other Canadian jurisdictions (memberships paid by employer)</li><li>Strong experience with Civil 3D and design and modeling software would be considered an asset</li><li>Experience working with First Nations and rural communities is considered an asset</li><li>Experience with municipal infrastructure, land development, and rural and urban roads.
