As a Chiropractor, you will play a key role in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, with a strong focus on pain management, rehabilitation, and overall wellness. Your expertise will help patients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, hands-on therapy, and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and conditions.
• Administer chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and other therapeutic techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Educate patients on posture correction, injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and long-term wellness.
• Utilize evidence-based chiropractic techniques, such as spinal manipulation, trigger point therapy, active release, and manual therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Provide guidance on stretching, strengthening exercises, and ergonomic adjustments to enhance patient well-being.
• Stay informed on advancements in chiropractic care and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to all ethical, professional, and legal standards in chiropractic practice.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensing: Valid chiropractic license and certification to practice in Ontario.
• Experience: Experience in primary care, rehabilitation, or sports therapy is an asset but not required.
• Skills:
• Strong diagnostic and manual therapy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Preferred but not required: Additional training or experience in modalities such as TENS, laser therapy, acupuncture, or Graston technique.
