Responsible for directly supporting the CEO in day-to-day execution, communication, planning, and relationship management, the successful candidate will be an influential thought partner and strategic collaborator who can help the CEO drive the business forward.Click here to learn more about our CEO, Lee Piccoli.Click here to learn more about Helia Capital.Click here to learn more about Fusion Homes.What You’ll be Doing:CEO Partnership & Strategic SupportBe the CEO’s right hand: act as a strategic liaison between the CEO and executive leadership, investors, partners, and key stakeholders.Anticipate needs and connect the dots between businesses and operations, ensuring clarity, follow-through, and no dropped balls across a high-velocity environment.Offer thought partnership: challenge ideas, stress-test strategies, and serve as a sounding board on key business and investment decisions.Co-lead annual and quarterly business planning, executive performance reviews, forecasting cycles, and cross-functional goal alignment.Project Management & Task ExecutionOwn and execute mission-critical projects that span business operations, real estate acquisitions, capital investments, and personal CEO initiatives.Take ambiguous ideas from concept to completion aligning stakeholders, building business cases, removing blockers, and tracking delivery.Conduct high-impact research and analysis to support CEO decision-making from strategic due diligence to operational benchmarking.Portfolio OperationsEstablish and maintain meeting rhythms, governance processes, strategic planning sessions, and performance check-ins across portfolio leadership teams.Partner with portfolio teams and provide strategic input to help shape portfolio direction, assess risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment with the CEO’s long-term vision.Act as the Board Secretary for active portfolio companies owning board cadence, pre-read development, minutes, follow-ups, and governance best practices.Communications & Internal AlignmentRepresent the CEO in meetings where necessary; follow up on action items, drive accountability, and ensure follow-through.What You Bring to the Table:5+ years in a similar role working directly with or supporting C-Suite executives.Self-starter attitude with a bias for action.Strong business acumen, critical thinking and project management expertise.Proven track record of executive-level communication, relationship management and influence.Ability to manage complex and highly confidential information with discernment, integrity and a high level of professionalism.Highly resourceful and accountable with a results driven mindset.Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.Flexibility to work 3 days per week across our downtown Toronto and Guelph offices (Guelph 1 day per week required).Why You Should Join Helia Capital & Fusion Homes:Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus system.Comprehensive Benefits: We cover 100% of employer-paid benefits for you and your family members.Secure Your Future: With our RRSP matching program, we help you secure financial stability for the long term.Vacation: 4 weeks of paid vacation after just 1 year.Hybrid Work Model: 3 in-office days per week to connect and collaborate.Award-Winning Culture: Recognized as a Mercer Best Employer for three consecutive years, our culture is built on excellence, collaboration, and winning as one team.Unmatched Growth Opportunities: We’re committed to your development with endless opportunities to learn, evolve, and achieve your professional goals.Work Hard, Celebrate Big: From exciting social events to a robust Employee Recognition Program, we make sure every milestone is celebrated, and every contribution is valued.Exclusive Perks: Be the first to access new Fusion Homes projects and enjoy exclusive employee discounts on your future dream home.Helia Capital and Fusion Homes are equal opportunity employers that champion diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
