Job Description

EBC is a Canadian contractor delivering marquee projects in key markets including waterpower, hydro, underground works, large bridges, mass transit, and other major civil works. Work in these markets spans all geographies across Canada and includes not only traditional project delivery methods, but also alternative modes such as DB, DBF, PPP, and ECI.



Reporting to the Vice President of Bids and Proposals, the Director of Estimation is fully responsible for leading a team of estimators. This leader will oversee estimates for proposals, bids, and projects in progress (when requested by operations) and ensure all bids are completed by required internal deadlines for management review.




Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering and/or equivalent experience

• Licensed member of Professional Engineers Ontario

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in major project estimation

• Strong communication skills

• Experience with projects over $30 million in value

• Availability for in-person work
