<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Motorcoach Charter Driver</strong></p><p>Diversified Transportation, a leader in the transportation industry, is renowned for its commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional service.</p><p>We are seeking skilled drivers to join our team of professional coach operators and Charter Drivers. We have several openings for Charter Drivers based in Grande Prairie, operating throughout Alberta.</p><p>We are looking for individuals who are safety-focused and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance. Being a team player with a strong customer-focused attitude is essential. Reliability, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills are crucial. Candidates should also be willing to work varied hours, including overnight charters.</p><p><strong>Availability Requirements:</strong></p><p>Candidates must provide their availability at least 1 day per week and 2 weekends per month. All available charter work will be emailed to available drivers weekly.</p><p><strong>What we Provide:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Work-Life Balance:</strong> Flexible schedule, ideal for semi-retired individuals or those looking for supplementary income.</li><li><strong>Professional Development:</strong> Work in an environment that prioritizes safety and training, fostering professional growth.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Complete assigned charters, ensuring all details and required paperwork are understood and completed.</li><li>Drive safely and responsibly, preparing for all road conditions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Provincial Hours of Service/Logbooks.</li><li>Perform extensive pre-and post-trip inspections.</li><li>Maintain a clean bus with standard daily duties.</li><li>Complete and submit DVCRs.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.</li><li>Trip planning and journey management skills</li><li>Knowledge of attractions and venues within Alberta</li><li>Effective and professional communication with clients and passengers</li><li>Ability to obtain clearance for:</li><ul><li>Driving record check (abstract)</li><li>Physical Demands Analysis (PDA)</li><li>Drug & Alcohol Test (DNA)</li><li>Criminal record check</li></ul></ul><p><strong>Years of Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience required</li><li>Motor coach experience preferred</li><li>Customer service experience preferred</li></ul><p><strong>License Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Class 1 or 2Q driver’s license required</li></ul><p>Join Diversified Transportation and contribute to a team that values expertise and dedication.
