RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs personal care and patient-specific activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:
- Help with patients personal hygiene care
- Assist with dressing/undressing
- Prepare meals and food safety monitoring
- Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Performs light housekeeping activities
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
- HCA/CSW certified or equivalent (previous experience will be considered)
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
- A Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check required
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Valid CPR & First Aid an asset
- Must have access to use of a vehicle
- Business insurance will be needed
