Call Center Billing Representative



Support a leading insurance organization with a hybrid role based in Ontario. Handle client billing inquiries, manage customer communication across channels, and contribute to a high-volume contact center. This position combines service excellence, technical accuracy, and professional communication in a dynamic environment.



What is in it for you:




• Hourly salary of $19.15.


• 6-month contract.


• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.


• Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.


• 2 weeks of on-site training required.


• Hybrid schedule based on a smart working model: 50% of working days in-office per month.


• Office days rotate weekly: Tuesday and Wednesday one week, then Tuesday to Thursday the next.



Responsibilities:




• Provide professional, timely, and courteous support to customers and brokers for billing telephone inquiries.


• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with brokers and underwriters.


• Support inbound insurance and claims inquiries with accurate triage to appropriate internal teams.


• Communicate clearly and empathetically through phone and email, resolving inquiries and explaining available programs or services.


• Systematically collect relevant information to ensure seamless customer interactions.


• Demonstrate accountability and follow-through in customer relations.


• Handle a high call volume, with a minimum expectation of 70+ calls per day.



What you will need to succeed:




• Secondary education or post-secondary diploma preferred.


• 1–2 years of experience in a contact center or similar customer service role.


• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Professional phone and email communication skills.


• Strong interpersonal skills and customer problem-solving abilities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based Windows applications.


• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.


• Reliable attendance and punctuality.


• Bilingual French knowledge is considered an asset.
