Enjoy the Experience.</li><li>Growth Mindset.</li></ul><p>It's not just a job – it's a step in your career</p><p>SUMMARY<br>:</p><p>This position is responsible for activities associated with purchasing and expediting to meet</p><p>requirements of the Logistics business plan.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES<br>:</p><ul><li>The Buyer is responsible for entering new purchase orders for direct shipment (drop ships) to</li></ul><p>our customers.</p><ul><li>The Buyer is responsible for entering purchase orders for the DC locations.</li><li>The Buyer is responsible for responding to inquiries regarding the status of purchase orders and resolving discrepancies such as quantity, order multiples, pricing or PID issues.</li><li>The Buyer is responsible for direct ship purchase order maintenance in Navision. This includes</li></ul><p>canceling, adjusting, and resending purchase orders to our suppliers as necessary.</p><ul><li>The Buyer will be utilizing Microsoft Office, Access, Navision, the SRRS Report Server.</li><li>Performs other duties as requested by Procurement Supervisor.</li><li>Maintain accurate pricing and landed costs in Navision</li><li>Responsible for calculating landed costs including freight and applicable tariffs</li><li>Processing vendor returns and ensuring appropriate credits are received.</li><li>Approving customer returns</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.</li><li>Analyze inventory turnover and recommend adjustments to purchasing plans</li></ul><p>EXPERIENCE<br>:</p><ul><li>Requires High School degree or equivalent.</li><li>Must have a strong sense of customer service & urgency & be able to consistently meet deadlines.</li><li>Must have Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.</li><li>Must be detail-oriented and consistently produce accurate work.</li><li>Must possess sound decision-making, multi-tasking, problem-solving and computer skills.</li><li>Data manipulation skills via Excel, Access and other system tools or applications.</li><li>Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>2+ years of experience in purchasing or inventory management, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Preferably knowledge of import/export regulations and vendor compliance.</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
