<h3>The Position</h3>
<p>We are looking for a full-time Business & Marketing Development Manager, you will play a leadership role in driving company growth, maintaining strategic partnerships, and managing internal and external initiatives. This role requires a proactive, highly organized individual with strong industry awareness and the ability to manage both client-facing initiatives and internal team alignment. You will work closely with our leadership team and project managers to ensure our brand remains top-of-mind across the Hamilton area and beyond.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain high-level relationships with insurance professionals, adjusters, brokers, and property managers.</li>
<li>Conduct quarterly route visits to insurance broker offices.</li>
<li>Maintain an up-to-date contact database in the CRM, logging visits, interactions, and follow-ups.</li>
<li>Monitor and pursue RFP opportunities with schools, hospitals, government agencies, senior care homes, and large commercial clients.</li>
<li>Stay informed on local market activity and upcoming industry changes or events.</li>
<li>Represent ServiceMaster at industry functions, local events, and trade shows.</li>
<li>Participate in community-focused events to enhance local brand presence. (e.g., parades, Canada Day celebrations).</li>
<li>Maintain full visibility into each Project Manager’s book of business and assist with job coverage planning.</li>
<li>Coordinate Project Manager attendance at key events and ensure proper representation across all outreach efforts.</li>
<li>Support the communication and distribution of weekly adjuster-on-call schedules.</li>
<li>Act as a liaison between project managers and external stakeholders for business development needs.</li>
<li>Plan, promote, and execute all ServiceMaster-hosted events, including CE classes, client appreciate events, and in-house networking sessions.</li>
<li>Updating and maintaining Social Media initiatives.</li>
<li>Prepare and deliver bi-weekly report to General Manager on the Friday prior to the PM meeting on Tuesdays.</li>
<li>Attend weekly meetings with the General Manager to align efforts and share updates (20 minutes).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Additional Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Posses a valid Class G Ontario Drivers license with no restrictions</li>
<li>Able to operate a company-owned vehicles</li>
<li>3–5 years in marketing, business development, or client management (experience in restoration, insurance, or property management sectors is highly desirable).</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership in managing external relationships and cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience with CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and MS Office Suite.</li>
<li>Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.</li>
<li>Willing to take part in on-call rotating schedule</li>
<li>Able to work after hours and on Holidays when necessary</li>
<li>Willing to submit personal information for a criminal background check</li>
<li>Preference will be given to those with IICRC Certification or equivalent; however, we will provide training for the right candidate.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Compensation and Benefits</h3>
<p>Base pay offered will depend on skills and experience. Additionally, we offer a fully funded benefit package through Group Life.</p>
