<p><b>Title: Business Consultant - Intermediate</b></p><p><b>Duration: 12+ Months</b></p><p><b>Location: Remote</b></p><p><br></p><p>The Registries Modernization team is taking an agile approach to implementing modernized, innovative, human-centric and sustainable solutions for delivering registry services to Albertans. For the Motor Vehicles registry, this includes a complete replacement of the legacy applications that delivery motor vehicle services with an established codebase that will serve as the foundation of the new system. Our team is looking for a Business Consultant who is process oriented and experienced in gathering requirements, performing gap analysis, and working with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs and drive operational efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities will include:</b></p><p>• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct process walkthroughs:</p><p>o Identify goals and pain points through gap analysis on current state and future state business processes.</p><p>o Create, review and update user stories, personas and journey maps, as applicable.</p><p>o Create system use cases, flow diagrams and interactive mock-ups outlining functional requirements, as required.</p><p>o Document and validate results with subject matter experts and drive the creation of detailed business and functional requirements specification documents.</p><p>• Support development of necessary system (non-technical) documentation as well as make recommendations for policy and/or procedural manuals.</p><p>• Support change management and training to ensure delivery of complex program changes.</p><p>• Conduct post implementation reviews, assessing opportunities for backlog refinement and for continuous improvement.</p><p>• Liaise with security and privacy teams to complete security threat risk assessments and privacy impact assessments as required.</p><p>• Assist with project planning, scheduling and status reporting as required.</p><p><br></p><p><b>To be successful in this role, the Contingent Resource should have:</b></p><p>• Demonstrated experience providing business analysis/consulting services in a motor vehicle registries modernization project.</p><p>• Demonstrated experience conducting a gap analysis between legacy systems and modern solutions.</p><p>• An understanding of Motor Vehicles services in Alberta.</p><p>• an understanding of Agile framework (SCRUM) through demonstrated experience.</p><p>• a results driven mindset and able to function independently, while engaging with other stakeholders and team members as required to deliver outcomes.</p><p>• a thorough understanding and experience using an Agile/Hybrid approach. Experience with tools such as JIRA is preferred.</p><p>• knowledge of and the ability to apply and interpret complex legislations/regulations, policies, and standards.</p><p></p>Create Your Resume First
