The Business Analyst – SAP WM will play a key role in driving the future success of our client. Reporting to the Applications Manager, this hands-on position will work closely with business teams, managers, and system users to define, design, implement, train, and provide ongoing IT support across the client’s organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP WM and XPS/Connectship configuration, alongside strong documentation, business process development, and cross-functional project coordination skills.
You will collaborate with SAP ABAP programmers, Basis teams, and other Business Analysts who are subject matter experts in various SAP modules. This position also involves on-call and after-hours support on a scheduled basis. The successful candidate will embody the company’s culture and serve as a role model for the team.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business partners to ensure smooth execution and alignment of IT services. Deliver IT services to the client group, focusing on speed, quality, and continuous improvement. Plan, gather requirements, design, develop, test, implement, and support new functionalities and enhancements.
Create and maintain business requirement documents, test scripts, business processes, work instructions, and user support documentation. Drive business process improvements and leverage new functionalities within existing systems. Ensure alignment between business goals and IT strategy.
Manage and support production environments to ensure uninterrupted service. Adapt to new technologies and evolving business needs proactively. Engage in operational performance improvements related to incident and change management.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, maintaining a current understanding of the client’s business requirements. Ensure adherence to change management processes and maintain high-quality deliverables. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, MIS, Engineering, or related field. 8 years of SAP WM implementation experience, including configuration of bin/storage locations, movement types, and batch management.
Experience with XPS/Connectship configuration within SAP WM. Integration experience with other supply chain modules and third-party systems (APIs, HTML, EDI, Webservices). Strong expertise in Warehouse and Transportation Management systems.
Knowledge of SAP problem-solving tools (logs, dumps, OSS notes) and data migration (LSMW). Experience with custom WM RF transactions and Radio Frequency systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Strong understanding of test strategies, methodologies, and accuracy in reporting. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing effectively. Who You Are: You have a passion for service and a commitment to safety and well-being.
