Role Purpose The Business Analyst, Freight Forwarding, provides analytical, reporting, and coordination support to the Vice President of Freight Forwarding. This role is accountable for delivering executive-level reporting to the CEO, leading data analysis across multiple systems, and contributing to business initiatives that span financial, sales, and operational domains. The Analyst ensures effective cross-functional collaboration, prepares and documents monthly leadership meetings, and supports strategic priorities through high-quality presentations and timely communication. The position requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Key Responsibilities * Support the Vice President of Freight Forwarding in financial, sales, and operational activities. * Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages for the CEO and key internal stakeholders. * Collect, validate, and analyze large datasets across multiple systems to extract insights, identify trends, and highlight performance indicators (KPIs). * Produce and manage weekly country reports and monthly Canada growth reports for submission to the CEO and ARO. * Lead or contribute to key business initiatives, including planning, tracking, and coordination across departments. * Organize and document monthly leadership meetings, including preparing agendas and taking detailed minutes. * Create and deliver polished, professional business presentations for internal and executive use. * Coordinate cross-departmental reporting, data gathering, and communication to support the VP’s priorities. * Leverage tools such as Excel and Power BI (preferred) to extract and present data clearly and effectively. * Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in support of executive operations. Knowledge & Qualifications * 3-5 years’ experience in a similar analyst position. * University degree in relevant discipline preferred. * Logistics experience is a plus. * Strong understanding of data platforms (Excel, Power BI). * Must be highly analytical with strong interpersonal skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create professional presentations. * Fluent in English. * Previous Canadian work experience or experience working directly with Canadian industries.
