About the Role

On behalf of our client in the Banking industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Business Analyst ready to take on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:


  • Support product owners, business line partners and IT teams in their decision-making and deliverables.
  • Lead workshops with multiple stakeholders of varying levels and expertise
  • Model current and target processes based on the Bank’s existing mapping practices (BPM).
  • Carry out high-level and detailed impact analyses on all angles of the process and with the help of experts.
  • Apply best practices to identify and write business requirements (functional, non-functional, informational, transitional), understand their links and ensure their traceability.
  • Make change management strategy proposals to solution users, provide coaching to facilitate adoption and adherence to new directions.
  • Maximize automation, pre-authorization, renewal (automated RNO CT1) and disbursements.
  • Integrated renewal process and streamlining and standardization of financial analysis (eliminate double indexing).
  • Be a strategic growth lever, with cross-functional ROE modeling (RBP) and latitude management integrated into the pre-disbursement workflow.

Your Qualifications


Education:

Bachelor’s degree related to the industry and several years of relevant experience.


Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience in business transformation, change management and continuous improvement (Black Belt lean six sigma asset).
  • Experience in business process mapping: modeling, BPMN, Lean approach.
