Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Product Ownership:
Act as the Product Owner for trade finance – Working capital finance solutions, managing the product backlog and prioritizing features aligned with business goals.
Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for PO Financing, Invoice Discounting, Working Capital Finance, trade loans
Must have knowledge on SWIFT messages relating to Trade Finance
Business Analysis:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from global corporate banking stakeholders.
Create detailed functional specifications for trade finance modules including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Bills, and Collections.
Domain Expertise:
Leverage deep knowledge in trade finance instruments such as:
Purchase Order Financing
Invoice Discounting
Working Capital Finance
Export/Import Financing
Letters of Credit
Bank Guarantees
Bills for Collection
Collections and Settlements
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams – technology, compliance, operations, and relationship managers across global markets.
Serve as the liaison between business users and development teams to ensure solution alignment with market-specific regulatory and operational needs.
Solution Design & Delivery:
Support solution design, UAT planning, and post-implementation reviews.
Ensure scalability and compliance of trade finance products across multiple geographies.
Market & Regulatory Awareness:
Maintain awareness of global trade finance trends, regulatory updates (e.g., UCP 600, SWIFT standards), and market-specific requirements.
Agile Delivery:
Work in Agile environments, contribute to sprint planning, and manage epics/user stories related to trade finance offerings.
