<p>Job Summary<br><br>We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires effective communication skills, strong time management abilities, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.</li><li>Swimming Pool readings and chemical balancing (will be taught if required)</li><li>Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and hand tools to ensure thorough cleaning of facilities.</li><li>Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move furniture or equipment during the cleaning process.</li><li>Maintain supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety hazards.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants in a professional manner.</li><li>Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required to support overall cleanliness and functionality of the environment.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols while using power tools or handling cleaning chemicals.</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Familiarity with time management practices to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with team members and facility occupants to ensure a collaborative work environment.</li><li>Experience with heavy lifting and the use of hand tools or power tools is advantageous.</li></ul><p>Join our team as a Cleaner and contribute to creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for everyone</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p><ul><li>Toronto, ON M6K 3P8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)</li></ul><p>Application question(s):</p><ul><li>Willingness to start at 7 AM?</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
