<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><p><br /></p><p>Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable <strong>Breakfast Attendant</strong> for the T<strong>ownePlace Suites, Woodstock, ON!</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><p>Greet and seat all guests and ensure a quality dining experience. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.</p><ul><li>Assist in preparation, cooking and presentation of food according to standard recipes for the bistro and banquet rooms. </li><li>Responsible for greeting every guest/customers with a smile and positive attitude </li><li>Prepare and present items, organize and maintain a clean service area, clean tables and area, and follow all health codes. </li><li>Ensures that all guests are dealt with in a professional, consistent manner. Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people. </li><li>Ensures entire food selection is available daily and hours of operation are strictly adhered to. </li><li>Monitors and inspects all food & beverage deliveries, ensuring portion controls are adhered to.</li><li>Provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs, Health Department requirements, and job safety analysis. </li><li>Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area. </li><li>Inspect food and beverage outlets for proper storage, neatness, cleanliness, side-work and rotation of inventory. </li><li>Inventory o Assist with <span >daily/weekly/monthly</span> food and beverage inventories.</li><li>Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team </li><li>Be professional, responsible and mature in conduct and behavior </li><li>Be understanding of, encouraging to and friendly with all co-workers </li><li>Be self-motivated and use time wisely </li><li>Maintain open line of communications with each department </li><li>Communicate pertinent information </li><li>Respond positively to new ideas </li><li>Openly accept <span >critical/developmental</span> feedback </li><li>Be available to help other departments in emergency situations </li><li>Perform other assignments as directed by supervisor.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p><p>High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.</p><p>Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.</p><p></p><p><strong>This job requires the ability to perform the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.</li><li> Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.</li><li> Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li> Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including, but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.</li><li> Ability to prepare and analyze date, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer.</li><li> Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.</li><li> Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.</li><li> Must possess basic computational ability.</li><li> Must possess basic computer skills.</li><li> Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.</li><li> Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations</li><li>Be knowledgeable about state regulations regarding health policies.</li><li>Most work tasks are performed indoors.
