<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Objectives</p><p>To direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations and supervise staff. You will be responsible for overseeing all operations functions within the branch including purchasing, logistics, sales and staffing.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities</p><p>- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of customer service, warehouse and drivers on staff.</p><p>- Manage budget and allocate resources appropriately, ability to manage P&L operation.</p><p>- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly</p><p>- Responsible for branch operations including staff, equipment and expense management.</p><p>- Strategically manage branch in compliance with company's policies and vision</p><p>- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations</p><p>- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures</p><p>- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies</p><p>- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees</p><p>- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided</p><p></p><p>Qualifications and Requirements</p><p>- Proven work experience as a Branch or Operations Manager</p><p>- Demonstrated knowledge of wholesale distribution industry.</p><p>- Exceptional relationship building and leadership skills</p><p>- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices</p><p>- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives</p><p>- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</p><p>- Leadership skills and ability manage staff</p><p>- Strong decision making and problem solving skills</p><p>- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written</p><p>- Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment</p><p>- High comfort level working in a diverse environment</p><p></p><p>Lines of Communication</p><p>The Branch Manager reports directly to the VP of Operations.</p></p></p>
