Job Description:
Position Overview: The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations at our Brampton branch, including air freight, ocean freight, and logistics services.
This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in logistics and a proven track record in managing P&L responsibilities. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving growth, increasing volume, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the Toronto branch team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- P&L Responsibility: Oversee the branch’s profit and loss, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operations in air freight, ocean freight, and logistics services.
- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the branch’s volume and market share.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on branch performance, financials, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on air freight and ocean freight.
- Leadership: Proven experience in a managerial role with P&L responsibility.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of logistics operations, industry regulations, and market trends.
