Bookkeeper

You’ll handle day-to-day accounting tasks, help keep financial records accurate, and play an important role in streamlining processes—without needing advanced experience in financial statements or trial balance prep.
What You’ll Do
- Enter and process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and payments
- Support accounts receivable by tracking incoming payments and following up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile accounts regularly, including bank and credit card statements
- Maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system (e.g., vendor files, transaction history, data entry)
- Assist with month-end tasks like updating reports and organizing documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely information flow
- Contribute ideas to improve workflows and support new tools or processes
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Clear communication skills and a positive, solution-focused approach
