We Are Hiring - Bookkeeper / Office Administrator (Downtown Vancouver)
Our client, a respected boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver, is seeking an experienced
Bookkeeper / Office Administrator
to manage the firm's day-to-day financial operations while supporting general office administration and HR coordination.

What you will do:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, receivable, and monthly billings
  • Handle trust accounting and reporting in compliance with Law Society of BC regulations
  • Process payroll and benefits administration (Ceridian experience an asset)
  • Complete bank reconciliations and oversee GST, PST, TAF, and WorkSafe filings
  • Assist with year-end preparation for external accountants
  • Manage bank deposits, petty cash, and lawyer expense reimbursements
  • Oversee office administration, vendor coordination, and expense tracking
  • Provide general HR and office management support as needed
  • Liaise professionally with lawyers, staff, clients, and third-party providers

What we are looking for:

  • Completion of a college program or courses in accounting/bookkeeping
  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience (law firm experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of A/P, A/R, G/L reconciliations, and trust accounting
  • Proficiency with PC Law, Sage Accounting, and Microsoft Office
  • Payroll experience (Ceridian)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
