Our client, a leading provider in the insurance industry, is seeking a Billing Representative- Personal and Commercial Lines Call Centre Representative to join their team.
Job Title: Billing Representative / Account Analyst (Personal and Commercial Lines Call Centre)
Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid/ Onsite)
Pay Range: $19.57/hr
Operational hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-8 pm and Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm
What’s the Job?
- Provide “brilliant” customer service to Licensed Insurance Advisors and other staff from both the Contact Centre and Insurance Branches.
- Handle approximately 50 inbound calls per day, addressing billing inquiries and concerns.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with insurance partners and underwriters.
- Act as a Company Ambassador, supporting inbound billing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Take ownership of customer relations, ensuring a seamless interaction and follow-through on inquiries.
What’s Needed?
- 1-2 years of experience in a contact center environment, preferably within the insurance or banking industry.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting and adapt quickly to changes.
- Professional telephone and email communication skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, Excel, and various web-based programs/Windows applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve customer concerns effectively.
