Job Title: Billing & Administrative Coordinator
Location: Mississauga, ON (on-site)
Job Type: 1-Year Contract (Potential for Permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20.00/hour
Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Administrative Coordinator to support a fast-paced logistics environment. This 1-year contract role offers the potential for permanent placement based on performance. The successful candidate must have prior experience in the logistics or transportation industry and be comfortable with industry-specific terminology and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring all charges align with work performed.
- Collect and reconcile weekly timesheets from technicians and maintain billing logs.
- Utilize Excel to manage billing records and track service hours.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end reconciliation and compile related reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized records for auditing and internal use.
- Provide general administrative support to the service and operations teams.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or billing role within the logistics or transportation sector.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and terminology is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas and spreadsheet management).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
